Farrow and Ball De Nimes – understated elegance

We’ve been getting lots of requests to paint in the beautiful Farrow and Ball shade – De Nimes. Described by the company as  a ‘quietly elegant blue’ it works really well in living spaces and creates a dramatic feel to an entrance hall. Taking its name from the French city of Nimes, the namesake of denim, this paint colour is both on trend and timelessly grounded. 

Think you’ll agree that it strikes an understated yet bold tone and provides just the right backdrop to offset neutral furnishings be that a bedstead, fireplace or upcycled mirror.
