Putting sparkle in our homes

Above all though, this year, light, light and more light is what we need to see.

Around your trees, on your doors, nestled in hedges, up the stairs, in your kitchens, more is more for Christmas and New Year 2020.

If the thought of getting up the ladder and dealing with the spaghetti of wires (how do they get so jumbled when I’m sure I put them away neatly !?) is too much to bear, don’t hesitate to give us a shout.

Our handyman Chris is ready for action and available for the day or half day to come and help you hoof the Christmas tree into place or get those light in place for that ta dah moment.

This year more than ever we’ll all be looking forward to putting some sparkle in our homes and to put the last gloomy months behind us.

However many people we are allowed in our home, getting everything lit up and festive will be top of the list.

On trend for Christmas 2020 are:

• Neutral and pastel decorations

• Gold accents are all the rage though

• All things eco friendly – upcycling and repurposing the old favourites

• Nostalgia is big too, think ceramics and those heirloom decorations
